I was saved at the young age of 5 years old. Although I was very young, I knew God was drawing me to him. This Jesus I had been learning about in Sunday school was pursuing me and became very real to me. I answered His call and accepted Him into my heart, right there in our double wide trailer. Jesus continued to make Himself real to me as I navigated through my teenage years. He was with me when my parents divorced. He was with me as I had to endure life with an alcoholic step father. He was with me in unsettling environments. I knew my Creator would never abandon me and I could have full confidence in Him.

I met my husband when I was 13 years old. Little did I know we would be married only 6 years later. At the young age of 19, I began a journey with a man who has never stopped amazing me. We have now been married for 11 years. #anditsawesome We currently call Atlanta, Ga our home. We have two amazing little boys and are in the process of bringing home a daughter from China.

I have the privilege to do ministry with my best friend! God has always made it clear to us that He had a specific journey He wanted us to take. It’s not easy to take a circus (family) on the road, but we say YES to God’s call! We get to travel all across the country sharing the Gospel. I have a front row seat to watch my husband lead people into the presence of Jesus while his little boys follow suit.

Along our journey, we have had some bumps in the road. My health being one of those. I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis when I was 27 years old. There was a time I did not think I would be able to travel with my husband and be on the front line with him in ministry. My spirit was willing but my physical body was very weak. I could not take no for an answer though.  I knew God called me to travel doing ministry. I knew there was women out there I needed to minister to. I knew God called our whole family to do it together. I decided to keep fighting. After prayer, a lot of medicine, and change of eating habits, God granted me my desire to be well. Now I am able to share my story with people all over the country. There are countless stories where women have contacted me months or even years down the road to tell me the impact my words had on them. That’s why I keep going today!

I’m just a girl with a tenacious spirit to never give up. I believe God has a plan for my life (and your life) and I do not intend on backing down from it.
